The Lake

After loosing our voices at the Hawks game Saturday night we kicked off the first weekend of summer by driving up to Lake Liz in Wisconsin. So fun and surprisingly relaxing. The weather was beautiful..but hot! Thankfully the neighbors randomly brought over a plastic little slide that we stuck into Sofia and Johnny's baby pool and with that said, their day was complete. Have you ever watched a kid go down a slide 1100 times in one day? we have. The most amazing part about it was that by 7 o'clock they were beat. John and I were able to relax with some Poor Man's Lobster from Mad Dan's (which is really grilled Haddock) a stiff cocktail and put our feet up for the rest of the evening. Here's to that happening every single weekend this summer!
